Terms for use, application, enrolment and participation

1. Supplier and scope

The controller is "Astrea Recruitment" EOOD 203088821, registered/contact address: Sofia 1303, 83, Odrin Street, floor 3. HR Academy is its training brand and is not a separate legal entity. Data Protection Officer: Silvia Djokich, [email protected]. Academy contact: [email protected].

These terms govern the website, applications and training agreements. Before payment, the participant receives the programme, dates, format, price/VAT information, inclusions and withdrawal rules. Mandatory consumer rights prevail.

2. Applications and admission

Information must be accurate and current.
An application does not guarantee admission or a place.
A place is confirmed only after written acceptance and the stated payment conditions are met.
Astrea may decline an application for unmet prerequisites, false information, capacity or a justified risk to the learning environment.

3. Price, payment and invoices

The price and VAT treatment are shown before order. Astrea issues invoices. The HR Academy panel records payment status and an external reference only and does not itself process card data unless a certified provider is expressly implemented.

4. Consumer withdrawal

A consumer entering a distance contract normally has 14 days to withdraw without reason by an unequivocal email to [email protected]. If performance begins during that period at the consumer’s express request, a proportionate amount may be due. The right may be lost after full performance only with prior express consent and acknowledgement. Statutory rights prevail over the commercial rules below.

5. Commercial cancellation and transfer rules

More than 21 days before start: full refund.
7–21 days: 50% refund or one transfer to the next cohort without fee.
Less than 7 days: no commercial refund; one transfer may be offered subject to availability and a EUR 100 administration fee.
A corporate customer may substitute a participant up to 7 days before start if eligibility is met.

6. Changes or cancellation by HR Academy

A trainer, venue, platform or session date may be replaced with a reasonable equivalent and notice. For a material change, the participant may accept, transfer or receive a refund for the undelivered part. If HR Academy cancels, the course fee is refunded; indirect costs are covered only where law requires.

7. Participation and certificates

Participants must follow instructions, avoid disruption and protect confidential information shared in cases or discussion. A certificate requires the published criteria, for example 80% attendance and a successful final assignment. It is a private course certificate, not a state-recognised professional qualification unless lawfully stated otherwise.

8. Intellectual property and external tools

Materials are licensed for personal learning and may not be recorded, sold, published or reused to deliver competing training without permission. When third-party or AI tools are used, participants must follow their terms and must not submit another person’s confidential data.

9. Liability, privacy and complaints

HR Academy does not guarantee employment, income or a particular business outcome and does not exclude liability that law does not permit to be excluded. Personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. Service messages are not marketing. Complaints: [email protected]; consumers may contact the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Commission and the competent ADR body. Bulgarian law applies and jurisdiction follows mandatory law.

10. Changes

The current version is dated and published. Existing agreements remain governed by the version accepted at enrolment unless law or an express agreement requires otherwise.
